Tony is experienced in both managing improvement in external issues with customer service and quality, and internal issues of underperforming management, cost reduction, quality manufacture and on-time delivery. He has experience in 5S and lean/Six Sigma techniques. He has completed assignments in the automobile supply industry for distressed suppliers such as Collin and Aikman and Engelmann making necessary operational improvements to meet OEM delivery requirements. He is experienced in integrating acquisitions to achieve cost efficiencies and has assisted in orderly disposals of underperforming entities. He has been employed on major, turnaround, profit improvement assignments including managing businesses as an Independent Executive often with full profit, loss and sales responsibility for a variety of quoted companies. His interim work has often involved taking control of businesses and manufacturing companies that require rapid improvement. He has successfully completed assignments in a variety of diverse sectors. Tony is familiar with the automotive industry OEM/distressed supplier protocols. His experience covers most areas of manufacturing. He has had several years of experience working with U.K. and U.S. international automotive and automotive supply corporations. Since 1992 he has worked in distressed European companies as an independent turnaround manager. Prior to commencing as a turnaround and change manager he worked at Managing Director, Operations Director and Plant General Manager level for General Motors, BTR, Mayflower Corporation and Concentric Plc.
